Early nineties movie

Can you help me with the name og this movie, please. It''s about a woman living with her husband and to (?) children. She is an artist and draws for children's books (?). She likes clay owls very much. Her husband gives her an owl that she likes very much. A younger woman who is initially friendly begins to act weird, and the main character is afraid. At one point the clay owl i dilles with bees and she suspects the younger woman. Noone believes her, and in the end her husband leaves with the children.

One of the final scenes is in a basement where the younger woman trives to kill the main character. It turns out the younger woman is her daughter who has been given up for adoption (?).

Here's a scene from the movie Irresistible (2006) that shows a large ceramic owl filled with bees.  The movie stars Susan Sarandon, who is a children's book illustrator.
