i don't know about in front of a van, but this past weekend i watched...
Two American friends, Ellie (Odette Yustman) and Stephanie (Amber Heard), set out for a cycling trip through Argentina, eager to explore its spectacular beauty. But when Ellie vanishes one afternoon, Stephanie's panic and desperation grow as darkness falls. Virtually alone in a foreign land, she wonders whether either of them will make it home alive in this spine-chilling remake of the 1970 British horror classic.
It wasn't too bad, although the ending could have been better, lol.
Sorry, it's been driving me crazy but i'm almost sure the movie you're looking for is Shuttle. It was pretty good.

Hitching a ride on the airport shuttle seems like the safest option for weary friends Mel (Peyton List) and Jules (Cameron Goodman), who find themselves stranded late at night after flying back from a girls-only vacation in Mexico. That is, until their short drive home descends into a one-way trip to hell. As captive passengers they're now at the mercy of a terrifying driver (Tony Curran) with an unknown agenda, and no exit in sight.
