Netflix Movie Fans

Okay, so recently, I remembered a movie that I once saw a long time ago (i was probably 8 and i'm now 19).  The only thing I really remember is that there were some type of rings of power and these rings were given to certain people (i'll assume these people were important).  I do remember that someone obtained a ring and wished to become the most powerful of everyone, and to achieve this goal, he needed to destroy all the other rings.  In turn, power from that ring would distribute to the remaining rings.  At the end of the movie, there are only two rings (i'll assume with equal-ish power); one belonging to the bad guy and the other to the good guy.  A fight ensues and good wins out (i think).

I do know that this is NOT any of the Lord of the Rings movies or The One (I only mention The One, because that movie also follows the theme of power-distribution, as the remaining people are killed).

I appreciate any helps and tips, sorry for the cheap description.  Thanks.  -Joe

Some possibilities

Gor (1987)

The Magic Sword (1962)

Doctor Mordrid (1992)
nope, don't believe it was any of those. But thanks. -Joe
It actually sounds like Highlander, but there weren't any rings involved. It isn't a cartoon, is it?
I don't think it was Highlander. I was a big fan of the Highlander show back in the day but I don't think that's it. The movie Double-Dragons always comes to mind but I don't think that's it either. And I don't think it was a cartoon, but I can't be positive that it wasn't a television series... Thanks though. -Joe
any other ideas?
I was with Snorii thinking it might be animated. Was it foreign or domestic? For adults or kids? What did the final good/bad guys look like and how did they fight? Weapons, powers, martial arts, or a combination?
I honestly can't remember. I'm PRETTY SURE it wasn't animated. And I also think the final "battle" was mostly hand-to-hand but there may have also been some "powers" involved. I just remember that the rings made the wearer stronger, and by the end of the film, there were only 2 rings left (i don't know what happened to the rest) and the villian's was slightly more powerful but good always wins out anyway. Thanks man. -Joe
It's like trying to remember a dream, ain't it? I barely remember which STATE I was in when I was 8.
HA, funny you should say that, cause I'm kinda hoping that this WASN'T all a dream that I'm just remembering {crosses fingers}
This really reminds me "The Power Within", a karate-kid style movie with some supernatural powers granted by two rings:

wow George, i really THINK that's it. I'd need to see it to be sure but I'm really confident that this is it. Doesn't there turn out to be a 3rd ring in the end or something?? If i'm wrong and this isn't it, the thread is still open to anyone that may know what it is. But if this is the movie, George, thanks a million. -Joe
I think there are just two ancient rings. The idea is that they increase the power of the wearer, and if he manages to find both rings he will become especially powerful.

But the rings are nothing more than tools, the real power comes from within ;)
