Saw a preview of a flck set in Alaska, I believe. Two Eskimo/Inuit women, one older, one younger and prettier are alone in a frozen tundra, they come across a man who is either ill, or has been injured, save his life. The older one falls for him, but he and the younger one have an affair... Thats what i got from the trailer. Planned to rent it, but forgot the title. Anyone recognize this?

Far North (2007), where 2 Inuit women save an injured soldier from death, and nurse him back to health.

Far North is an independently produced film by director Asif Kapadia, based on a short story by Sara Maitland. It was screened at various film festivals in 2007 and 2008 before a US DVD release on September 23, 2008. Set during an unspecified time and place in the first half of the 20th century (the only clue to the date being the type of military rifles in use), it tells of a woman (Michelle Yeoh) and her adopted daughter (Michelle Krusiec), living in the Arctic tundra. The mother's voiceover explains early on, that a shamansaid she was cursed at birth and would bring harm to anyone she cared for. Flashback scenes reveal how this has previously affected her life. One day the two women find an injured, starving soldier (Sean Bean). They save him from certain death and emotions are stirred in their cozy yurt.
