Netflix Movie Fans

I saw this movie around 1999 on HBO or one the other cable movie channels.  A hitchhiker (I think a man) is picked up by a bunch of young people.  They are (I think) in the desert headed towards a strange looking building in the distance.  Before they get to it, there is a huge explosion.  When the hitchhiker comes to, he is about to be picked up by the same people again.  He gets in and realizes the conversation is the same and tries to convince the others that they must get to that strange building.  They get a little closer, but the explosion happens and we/he start all over.  This goes on, each time getting a little closer to the building.  That's all I can remember, I think I fell asleep before the end.  Thanks!

Retroactive is similar, but not completely in line with your storyline.

Tag and Yeah agree.

In Retroactive a Girl is picked up (Car broke down) and keeps having to get to the building for do overs.

Not a bad flic

"If you think about it, all action stars probably share the one expression, passing it between themselves as needed.  Except when Kristen Stuart needs to have the original back."
