On your community home page there's a box with "Members With Similar Tastes to You" in the lower left corner. If you refresh the page you'll get to see new suggestions, but that's the closest thing there is to a "search" function.
All very true, but Netflix definitely needs a "passable" rating, something between "Liked it" and "Didn't like it."
Having bought close to 75 VHS tapes, which I rarely watched, I took a vow not to buy any DVDs when they became popular. I haven't and still don't plan to. With Netflix around, almost any film I want to see again is only two days away.
IMDb sorts reviews by such categories as Hated It, Loved It, and the like. I wish NF would do the same. When a movie has, say, a hundred or more reviews, the one- and two-star reviews are usually among the last. They're sometimes interesting to read.
