We are firm believers in rescuing dogs. There are so many dogs out there that need good homes. Even if you are into pure breeds, there are rescue organizations you could contact. Wishing you all the best in finding that dog that is meant for you.

Ben, sounds like you are keeping busy! Awesome. I was in AZ years ago, went to Taliesin West, Grand Canyon, etc, etc... love AZ, but love CO the best. Hope to retire there some day, God willing.

I saw the ads for the dog show, hope to catch it.

Keep me posted on your doggy situation. Are you planning to buy from a breeder or to rescue one??

I suspect you can learn anything you want to here (that Netflix isn't too tightlipped to become public knowledge)! We sure love Netflix too! (There's no comparison to Blockbuster that is remotely fair either.)

Hah, yes.. Newfies are pretty big and they drool! LOL. They are gentle giants and great with kids. We adopted our Newf before our son was born, so he really thinks he is the oldest sibbling and very protective of his young brother! We adopted him. His mom is a black lab and dad is a Newfie. Mom was rescued from a kill shelter not knowing that she was pregnant with three pups.

Anyway, do you like foreign movies? I am a huge fan of foreign films.

Ben, thanks for responding. Yep, I love Netflix too. My theatre going days are long gone. I enjoy watching movies in the convenience of my own home. Plus, $12 a pop, gosh... I remember going to the movies for $3!!! Hah, that should say something about my age. ha ha ha ha...
I am a huge foreign films fan. I tend to stay away from mainstream movies, unless they are really good.

Ah, you are a dog lover too. My dog is a black lab-newfoundland mix, thus my name is NewfMom. We rescued him as a puppy before our son was born, now he thinks he is the first born in the family. He is smart and has quirky personality. We adore big dogs - I always want a saint bernard, but we are firm believers in rescuing dogs rather than buying them from breeders. There are so many good dogs needing good homes out there.

My mother-in-law has an old bischon, deaf and everything, but she makes a good companion for mom. Sorry about your dog. I totally understand, dogs become parts of the family.
