So far, there seems to be no site dedicated to fantasy.I hope this is a great place for anyone who likes crazy creatures, dungeons and dragons style adventures, and anything else that fits.Enjoy!!!See More

COME SEE THE NEW DIRECTORY SITE!
Now our Netflix Community groups have a new & improved way to promote, help new users find them, and keep redundant groups from being formed.
Swords and Serpents is already being featured on The Sci-Fi Portal page.

To find out more about this site on Ning visit the Main Page.
We’d love to hear any ideas, thoughts, or suggestions you have to offer.
If your group would like its own badge to The Sci-Fi Portal, you can find the embed code at this address: http://dorkycool.ning.com/notes/Embed_code_fo

Well, I've been a little scarce myself up until recently.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how many new members there were and how they were keeping it going. I felt guilty that practically none of them received a proper welcome -and I wanted to add features and other people with admin powers to keep things running smoothly in the future.
I know what you mean though, sometimes there just isn't extra time for netflix :(

Just FYI: The Netflix search engine has been rigged to bring up "The Water Horse" EVERY time anyone puts the word "the" in the search engine. To thwart this obvious new form of payola, don't use the word "the." You'll get what you're looking for without it.

This has been going on for weeks now, and gawd knows how much unadvertised-as-such advertising this has generated for that film. It might be a good one; I just despise the sneaky stealth promotion and hope to discourage it in the future.

Hey- I thought you might like to know..
Some of us at the Wormhole are working on a 'portal' that will take members to other related sites -like your Swords and Serpents group.
Here is what the link from the Sci-Fi Forum looks like -take a look, I'd love to hear your thoughts or suggestions.

Hey Ben,
Sorry I haven't been around in a while... But I'm happy to see that The Sci-Fi Forum is thriving and with so many new members.
I think it would be a good idea to give administrative powers to more people (than just me) -so if you have ideas or suggestions for the forum or would like to be more involved please let me know.

Thanks. I'm not a photographer, a friend who does it as a hobby took the photo for me. I happily reap the benefits of his passion with many unusual photos.
