Now our Netflix Community groups have a new & improved way to promote, help new users find them, and keep redundant groups from being formed.
Swords and Serpents is already being featured on The Sci-Fi Portal page.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how many new members there were and how they were keeping it going. I felt guilty that practically none of them received a proper welcome -and I wanted to add features and other people with admin powers to keep things running smoothly in the future.
I know what you mean though, sometimes there just isn't extra time for netflix :(
This has been going on for weeks now, and gawd knows how much unadvertised-as-such advertising this has generated for that film. It might be a good one; I just despise the sneaky stealth promotion and hope to discourage it in the future.
Some of us at the Wormhole are working on a 'portal' that will take members to other related sites -like your Swords and Serpents group.
Here is what the link from the Sci-Fi Forum looks like -take a look, I'd love to hear your thoughts or suggestions.
Sorry I haven't been around in a while... But I'm happy to see that The Sci-Fi Forum is thriving and with so many new members.
I think it would be a good idea to give administrative powers to more people (than just me) -so if you have ideas or suggestions for the forum or would like to be more involved please let me know.
