Thanks for the links.  I won't bore you with my diet over the last 5 years - I can't eat much and it's for other medical purposes and seems to be working - almost all the numbers that were in lethal ranges are normal this year - just a few left to go.

I've seen the x-rays - it's arthritis.  Today is a "crutches" day.  It's not so much that the dissolving cartilage & joints hurt (they do), it's that they just refuse to obey.  Providence has sent rain today, so I don't have to mow the lawn.  Yea!

Thanks for the welcome, i'me finding the site a little hard to navigate as i'm so used to accessing social networks from my phone. I don't suppose you've heard of my mistery movie it's been driving me crazy for years. I also wasn't sure where to put that discription so i placed it in two places. Hope it doesn't look obnoxious

David, this week in "Indiewire" Leonard Maltin has a great article featuring the "Movie Books" he recommends. It is a pictorial and the books really  look good.  It features Classics and all movies and not just Indies. Marcie

David, Do you remember the "Videohound's Golden Movie Retriever Book?" It is a huge yellow book that came out every year and the Manager of Blockbusters would give me (after much hanging around and smiling and flirting on my part, harmless, really) his old copy each year when he got his new one. This was early 2000's and no Net flix yet! I still have a couple and they have tons of info. on each movie including reviewsof Directors and actors and Producers. Net flix has several really good "movie people" films but many are pure crap. I will make a list and get back to you. Marcie

Anime is just like any other genre.  Only 0.1% are watchable - and Hayao Myazaki movies don't fall into that category (except for Porco Rosso).

And two things for the record:
:

1) Sev is an asshole (an honest one, just ask him, he'll tell you.)

2) Anime porn is the worst crap I've ever seen.

Thanks for joining the No Man's Land group!  You know every time I start a group I do feel a little like Bond in this scene....I don't know exactly what's going to happen, but I have things at stake!

For me, an actor can make or break a film. I am trying to become more aware of directors, though. Thanks for the reply. :)
