Leon Storie replied to spiderpig's discussion 'Lilyhammer TV Show on IW'
"The second half of the shows become a little more cohesive in terms of the overall story, but the basics of the show remain the same. Small problems come up and Johnny uses his unorthodox views to solve those little problems or help others…"

Leon Storie replied to spiderpig's discussion 'Lilyhammer TV Show on IW'
"I've seen all 8 episodes. I like it. I think this could be quite a good show if the sidekicks take a bit more of the spotlight in the next season and sort of have Johnny as the guy trying to keep these nuts organized. "

Leon Storie replied to droidmaker's discussion 'Netflix and Qwikster. Comments? Hopes? Fears?'
"I am sorry if this has been addressed, but my eyes are glazing over with all this Netflix stuff. Simple question:   I have the 3 disk plus streaming plan, which means that I can stream to three devices. If they separate the streaming…"

Leon Storie replied to Ruddickulous's discussion 'Netflix's Evolving Business Model'
"Not trying to be a douchebag, so if I come across that way, I apologize, but I am not sure why the friends features are so important to people. Can you explain that to me from your perspective?"

Leon Storie replied to Ruddickulous's discussion 'Netflix's Evolving Business Model'
"If you put a gun to my head, I couldn't tell you what movies were released on DVD within the last 6 months. I'm probably in the minority though."

Leon Storie replied to The Professor's discussion 'What did you watch today? v 30.0'
"Northern Exposure - Season 6   This season is usually viewed a sub-par by most, but I have to say that I really, really like it. The story lines weren't quite as good as in years past, but man, the writing was still top notch. The best…"

Leon Storie replied to Spike's discussion 'Why aren't there more instant?'
"Every movie on Netflix was a new release at some point. Open you mind a bit and you might find you like some old stuff."

Leon Storie replied to Sock Puppet's discussion 'Is it just me?'
"I can troll a little if that would add a little excitement. Let's see: You are all Netflix fanboys afraid to acknowledge that you are paying too much for an inferior service and just jump on people who disagree. I hope this helps."

Leon Storie replied to CKENN19's discussion 'DVD Availability'
"To me, the great thing about WI is that you are exposed to some really great old films and some obscure newer ones. If you watch one and it sucks, big deal, but you might just find a new appreciation for something you might not otherwise…"

Leon Storie replied to CKENN19's discussion 'DVD Availability'
"I want streaming more than DVD's, but I would like more titles available for streaming. I know that Netflix doesn't directly control what is streamable, but until a much larger selection is available for streaming, they are a really good…"

Leon Storie replied to Johnny's discussion 'Dexter Season 4 - Where did it go?'
"I just called, and the guy said that the disks that they received from the vendor were messed up and they are "frantically making new copies" and they should show as available in about a week or so."
Dec 3, 2010
Leon Storie replied to beeswax's discussion 'Your Queue...'
"I had Dexter Season 4 in my queue and when I just checked my queue, it's been removed and put in the saved list. Why did this happen and will they put it back where I had it?"

Leon Storie replied to Mike's discussion 'Is there a way to request Netflix carry a DVD?'

Welcome to Western Roundup!

We're doing a discussion of The Searchers...the group was large and active at one time, but it's been a little like a ghost town recently.

I noticed that you (re)discovered the genre recently. Some of the discussions, I hope, will be instructive in terms of giving you some ideas about westerns that are worth your time!
