About Me:

I like anime, the new Dr. Who series and other cult tv shows, and romantic comedies. I also like indie and foreign films, and the classics.

I've gone back to school, and am trying to figure out what to do if I get a degree in English. Also, I aspire to be a writer someday (novels and maybe short stories.) I posted the garden quote because I just started a garden by the side of the house this summer, and am successfully growing zucchini and pumpkins! Yay! A little late for Halloween, but better late than never.

Please vote no on Prop 8

Please vote no on Prop 8. I'm lesbian, and live in California. If it passes, I won't be able to marry. It would take a federal law to change that, and that could take a long time to occur, if it happens at all. I'm not interested in teaching little kids about gay marriage, or changing anyone's religious views, etc.. I just want equal rights. Marriage isn't going to be destroyed if gays like myself can get married. What is destroying marriage is the high divorce rate, which is created by straight people, since they're basically the only ones that can marry.

I know some of you eschew voting, because you don't think it makes a difference. It will in this race, though. I have a feeling it's going to be a close call, and every vote will count. If you're registered, please vote in this one. Thanks.

Just want to let you know that my Internet connection is not working too well, so I'm having to type at school. I'm still battling a cold, so I may not make it to school much. A young girl in the crowd raised her hand and said.." Well if you drink, smoke and eat chocolate then you won't get worms".. That was the end of that sermon...LOL Delete Comment
