"I hadn't noticed it, but that sure looks interesting. I guess it all depends on how the lists look, and how easy it is to find those created by certain individuals. It might even drive traffic to that already fine website. This is just gravy."
"By the way, has anybody noticed this new list function at IMDb?
You can access the section from the "community" drop down menu on any page. I'm sure you have to be a registered user."
"I hate to be a killjoy on this, but the fact that your list ID is part of that URL is of no consequence. The part of the URL that matters is the movie ID number. I had discovered that what appears after the movie ID is pretty much irrelevant. Not…"
"The lists still exist because the RSS feeds I have to certain ones still work. Now if Netflix would just let us pick off the RSS feeds attached to our profiles (list feeds as opposed to queue feeds) for one day or week..."
"Sheeeeit guys , that data is dead.
I agree with Scott P. that they aren't letting us see it any more but they haven't deleted the lists. The last thing I was doing before they pulled the plug on lists was watching something on IW that…"
"I'm fairly certain that Helen Mirren was not part of the film I'm trying to remember. It was an interview with her that set me off on this quest.
And I started to watch A Dirty Shame, but didn't get far because I found it way too…"
"Boy, that doesn't look familiar at all. I don't think that's it. It seems like I saw this fairly recently, and it isn't nearly that old. It could be foreign, as I watch a lot of those, but I do not have any distinct memory of…"
"I don't think it is. Several days after the final "friends" removal, I experienced a flashback glitch and started getting the old movie pages, with friend ratings and all the other great features they took away. So I think the…"
"It would be great if NF would allow us access to our lists for long enough to export it. I knew Friends was going but though tthey would at least give us a heads-up window for the lists, since so much hard work went into them."
"If any of you have a Feedflix account, they say they can publish our lists from Netflix, if we can convince Netflix to make the data available. I posted a request on their Facebook page, which I know isnt;t the best place, but it's a start.…"

What I Snack on in Movie Theaters
My lip. I rarely eat when watching a movie.
Are you a Netflix employee?
I enjoy a good story, or a story that has significance, as long as it is done well. I don't care for violence for the sake of violence and pretty much stay away from horror and tales of the supernatural. I do like the occasional fantasy (e.g., Big Fish, Tideland, Pan's Labyrinth, etc.). I like intelligent comedy, drama, foreign, and smaller, independent films. I love to read a good movie! I also like to write about the movies I've seen and try to write good reviews. If you've been wondering about my avatar: It's the corner of my living room where I watch most of my movies. My laptop is just visible in the lower right.

I like your avatar. I change mine regularly (pretty much), I also like your statement about your likes and dislikes. We're pretty similar. I don't get being scared and horror movies and gore (especially for gore's own sake)
Wow, you are pretty busy on here! I haven't ever really dove into this ning site because I'm a member of a few others, but i do have a presence here if somewhat small :) Glad to see you here and make a new friend though!
Should be fun! I warn you though I'm currently writing lots of reviews. (Other times I work on my lists.) Has your ranking settled out? This morning I checked mine and it was 13 but soon afterwards it was back to 7 and still is. Weird.
Netflix will say they're adding people all the time -- but that makes no sense for why someone high would fall so low. Truth is we don't know why since Netflix won't say. Personally I think they're changing the math and there is a delay of a few weeks (it seems) in when calculations take effect.
Reviews do sometimes ghost away for a while, I think the server propagation during updates causes that. People notice that somewhat often, it's normal.
Yes to create a Save-only queue you'd need a profile other than your main one; it's easy to do. Can you see my Robowriter/Save profile? It's a fave under my main profile. I have nothing in the queue but Save titles -- even one Long Wait title can cause the profile to be skipped for disc shipping -- and yes you need to be on a plan or allocation that allows the Save-only queue to ship a disc. Cheers!
Look at your ratings comparisons more esp. his ratings which should compare with yours. Somewhere it says "You have xxx movies in common with a xx% compatibility." This is discussed in the Community too buy basically if I have 100 movies rated and you have 20 (all matching mine) you will have 100% with me but I will have 20% with you -- and if we mix and match stars among movies we have in common ... well you get the idea. It's complicated.
"Those stream settings are for viewing movies on my computer, aren't they? I wish to watch streaming movies mostly on my television.
In any case, I set the quality to Good, and the movie does seem to play better on the TV.
"Go to this page and see if lowering the stream settings helps.
(I have it on "Good quality" and otherwise it would not work very well for me.)
Let us know if this solution helps you."
"Hello, I asked on the We Belong Dead page on Facebook and lots of people came up with that as well. I watched the trailer on Youtube, it looks like a good film but it's not the one. In the one I'm thinking of you don't see who is…"
