I don't golf, not a big fan of sitting and watching it, but letting the Augusta run on a Sunday afternoon on my 60 inch Plazma in high definition is about as peaceful and beautiful as TV can get. Nothing looks better or is better for an afternoon ...
Try this site http://portforward.com/ tweaks for most modems are there. They don't have anything for Netflix yet, but the bittorent tweaks worked from me.
I wonder how pairing this with the recent sequel would work. The sequel is not a classic like The Last Picture Show, but i might be interesting to see what happened next.
I realize it's not factually correct, more like a caricature film like Primary colors. I hear this movie pretty much gives him the sympathetic goof treatment. Anyway it is arriving in the mail.

Watched "The Reader" and "Revolutionary Road" last night. I liked Revolutionary Road better, I even though Kate Winslet's acting was better (maybe more enjoyable) in Revolutionary Road although she was still top shelf in both.

I still never have a problem with instant watch on my Xbox. 4 bars day or night, near DVD quality. Most likely your ISP is throttling Netflix streaming. Speadtest means little if your ISP is choking off your netflix stream.

i don't think it's a show you can really get a real feel for with just one or two episodes. i didn't fall in love with the show right away... but once i did, boy... did i! there are so many running jokes and subtle yet hysterical touches built in it that the re-watchability factor is hugh... i've seen the entire series 3 times so far and i still find new stuff i missed.
you can watch episodes at hulu, i think they have the whole series too.
