Not really into Anime although my husband is...
Seen Ladies In Lavender, Widow's Peak, Waking Ned Devine, The Full Monty, Brassed Off? Oh there is a period drama with happy ending on Instant Watch called Firelight.
LOL... I should've asked first! I do like British movies, mostly their period dramas and comedies. I used to watch a lot of British mysteries too, but not lately - fan of Agatha Christy.
Hi MilesToGo, welcome to the community. Lovely avatar! I see you like Waking The Dead??? Wow that's one of my most favorite romantic dramas. I am a fan of Billy Crudup, are you? Seen Charlotte Gray?
> Trifids and Daleks being two the silliest villians of all time.
Hahahaha... Totally agreed. Until they gave the Daleks the ability to fly, I always imagined their quest for domination being thwarted by civilizations that still used stairs.
> My husband loves Army of Darkness and Shawn of the Dean.
> I just can't get into them for whatever reason.
You must be the evil (or good?) twins of the Suquamish's. I dig those films, but Mrs. Suquamish --- not so much.
The trick with "Army of Darkness," "Shawn of The Dead," and also "Return of The Living Dead" is that much of the humor is rooted in the horror genre itself. So unless you dig horror movies, they're really not going to be all that funny (although "Shawn of the Dead" stands on own much better).
I just went through your slide show, and I'll echo Nick. You have some amazing photos there -- excellent eye. I really dig on #24.
Hi MTG, NO, there is never a bad kitty pic....all sooo cute for sure! I think you added some kitty pics did'nt you?? Very nice. TY for joining cat lovers group!! Take care..ttyl.
You have some amazing pictures! I see you travel a good bit as well. Very cool. By the way, I see you also have cats, maybe you would like to join my group "cat lovers here", and share some kitty pics and some interesting stuff about your cats...of course if you would like. Take care for now, ttyl.
Just for the record... I don't recommend attempting your bank theory. The price is kinda steep if you're wrong about being invisible. ;P
I just caught you dig the Star Wars series. All the way through (including prequels), or just a select set? I'm really fond of "A New Hope" and "The Empire Strikes Back," but after that I my enjoyment of the series declines. By the time we get to "Revenge of the Sith" I don't even want to watch.
