Sounds to me like you have CC (closed captioning) and subtitles going on at the same time...? To disable CC you need to change a setting on your TV (this can often be done vi a the remote control). To change/disable subtitles you can usually eithe...

I noticed a group on here called Foreign Films. being a Maverick of all things conventional I think that's slightly derogatory to other countires even though Netflix is a USA based company. Maybe US is the foreigner as well?
