Shockingly, this is a person who does * not* work for Netflex, and is getting her PhD. She is doing her dissertation on the behavior of Netflix people. She was interested in my reviews. I am truly sorry about your ulcer. Generally, they are stress related, but it is not for me to say. There is an application on the iphone/ipad/itouch for stress reduction. It is called :"Relax," by Andrew Johnson; it has to do with "progressive relaxation. " it was 3 bucks, and there is also one for sleep for 3 bucks. I tend to have this indefatigable churning of mind that makes my sleeping a marathon match! Hence, that is when I do my writing. The lady who does the survey lives in NYC and is from China. It would be a good idea to show her some of your work before the non reviews. I work for myself and do not see clients before 2:00 P. M. -- my boss is my cat, Dylan and we rarely argue!

Netflex is - just now - doing public "awareness surveys" to people on this list. They are trying to promote the critics comments instead of our own. Admittedly, there is truly some junk out there, but I do not follow the junk ... Just the people who are adept at writing well-crafted reviews. Please be aware of this,
John
I now have more free time on my hands, since I am semi-retired, so I recently started writing reviews. Serendipitously, I ran into the tiny "Friends" tab, and was able to locate obscure titles that needed more attention And hence, writing these reviews was becoming habit-forming! But, right in front of my eyes, things were disappearing, so I called in, and was told that it was being closed down. -- I was silent! --Like I had been punched in the stomach, whooping and gasping for air ... She, had just heard the news herself, and must have had an avalanche of calls. She did *not* seem to have been well-prompted, since she said that this was happening to our best and most loyal customers. Thereafter, when I tried to make other calls, they were not the least bit "genuinely" concerned, to which they referred to it as not being a "social site," and that it was taking up too much time, and too much space! I told the trade for "Facebook" was about as pleasant as tin-foil on-a-tooth!... At last, I got a truthful answer, albeit, not what I wanted to hear. Common sense tells me that they are simply a liaison, for corporate decisions, and are being inculcated to believe that it is a non- productive venture that did not workout. Surprisingly, some are not even aware that "Friends" is getting the axe.

I just wanted to take a moment to say "thank you" for all that you are doing to save "Friends." Obviously, you have put in a lot of time writing reviews, and to see Netflix be so cavalier about the very "2%" that has made them is heart-wrenching! Nonetheless, I read a few of your views prior to your present "non reviews" and to say that I found your reviews to be very good and your choice in film to be helpful in my search. Just to let you know: I have made several calls thus far and have spread the word as to just how I feel about the matter. Again, thank you for sharing your "non-reviews!"
