What I Snack on in Movie Theaters
The theater usually involves dinner before the movie for me. So there really is no need to snack.
Are you a Netflix employee?
a) No.
About Me:
I love movies whether they are artistic or graphic and disturbing. Psychological mind twisting can be fun, but so can minimalism. Emotion and capturing the Human experience are probably the most important things I look for in film and in my life. I do my best to live by the Skeptic philosophy, but it isn't an easy road. I think I'd much rather be Stoic or even better an Epicurean but that is all lofty philosophical shite. I hate to love violence and animalistic behavior, but I am an Animal and I am a Human. I hate and love equally and not at all. I live for progress and destruction. I am civilized and barbaric. I am Orion the Hunter of the stars.

May he fight for the rights of the weak and punish the sins of the rich and the powerful who have driven the U.S. into insurmountable debt, soiled the idea of democracy and stunted the realization for many who wish to partake in the American dream. May he hold back the tyrants that currently threaten Western civilization and defeat those who would propagate violence in the name of religion. If anything I really hope he is able to stabilize the economy and arrest the crooked people on Wall-street and in D.C. who allowed greed to usurp their loyalty to their nation. Unfortunately arresting George Bush to show the rest of the world that we meant business didn't happen. The attempts of the wicked to hijack the constitution and pervert it's meaning have unfortunately been largely successful. The enemy of the people should be subjected to the full extent of law allotted to people by the constitution. I look forward to witness the day when a leader is strong enough to achieve the resurrection of the rights of the Republic.

As I revise my congratulatory campaign victory speech for Obama, I realize just how large a task it was, and feel sorry to see President Obama and the democrats struggling under the weight of their own greed and corporate constituents. I feel betrayed when I see the future of the American people stolen from them by Bankers and wealthy wall street firms.  I can't believe the conversations and legislation that is happening in the House of Representatives right now. How low has our political system degraded. From the strongest country in the world to a debtor nation that can't pay it's bills. A nation that continues to fight unnecessary and costly wars, instead of concentrating on solutions for our economic and sustainable future.  How low, How low. What laws do Private Buisness's have if they operate outside of national boundaries. What will Space become if they become the dominant players in space exploration. I really don't know, I guess Ridley Scott had the evolutionary path of man into space correct with Alien? Or perhaps it could be a darker future full of war between the two power systems, more like Screamers. I don't know, but what I do know is that my previous paragraph sounds like a lot unresolved dreams at this point, our destiny as human beings itself seems a bit lost. Are we going to pursue a better future for mankind that no longer involves starvation, disease, poverty... Are we going to at least try? Our current path seems to point the contrary. Instead of spending our time creating innovative ways to better educate our populations and effectively communicate and fully fund good science including programs like NASA, which could easily supply the next industrial revolutionary phase of Humanity. Staying stuck at our current level of industrial development is no longer sufficient enough to sustain humanities larger problems dealing with sustainable development. The current belief that these goals are impossible are defeatist and cynical to the point of mass neglect. Allowing things like famine, war, and complete economic inequality across the world stems from a lack of development and a failure of our current State run system which involves complex balancing between each individual's interests. "Fighting for the scraps instead of sharing the whole pie." The pie being space and every economic opportunity that lies in the exploration, development and colonization of it.

Basically I'm still waiting to join STARFLEET!

Here's hoping you dig "Robot Carnival." Obviously I dig on it. Maybe someday Time-Warner will re-release the show.
