Help remove non-reviews from movie pages by posting the link to the review of the titles according to the alphabet. This way, more of us can flag those "DVD is cracked" or "shipped the wrong title" kind of reviews. (58 Reviews posted to be flagged)
One of the favorite moments from my time in college was when I took a Folklore of Subcultures class, and a grad student did a presentation on fandom, and brought in his mom, who edited an original, pre-internet fanzine that was distributed at cons...
Well, I go through and not-helpful and flag things when I see them myself, but I'm just a phone rep. I can't speak to the amount of time the website folks would have to monitor the group.
I watch a lot of TV shows on DVD, and lately I've taken to just adding the first disc, then adding the second when the first ships, etc. unless it's only, like, a two disc set, and periodic culls of things that the site thinks are going to be less...
Customer service!
A lot of the Hulu stuff is already owned by NBC/Universal or Fox, so they don't have to make licensing deals, as far as I know (and I can only speculate). Bewitched is owned by Sony Pictures, and they might not want to encourage...
I don't work in content, so I don't know. Judging by the press release from the original signing of that deal, I'd say Netflix was offered some recent seasons but not the whole shebang.

- Hi, Ellen! I recently became a member of the community site on Ning and joined a few groups (Star Wars, Bladerunner, Firefly/Serenity). I also formed another SCI-FI group for fans of the Stargate universe. But then I started thinking that since there is such a shortage of good SCI-FI as it is and most of us probably enjoy this genre in general, that it would make more sense for me to change my group ‘Wormhole Xtreme!’ into a space for ALL KINDS of SCI-FI.
