After you alter the shortcut you must close all open instances of chrome for it to take effect.

I just did this this morning and I had no luck. I have Vista w/SP1 so I'll have to reread to find out what if anything I can do. Bummer.... Chrome is my favorite browser, too.

I have this working... sort of. The playback is very jittery, sort of scrolling like when I watch in Chrome. Playback is as smooth as it can be when I watch in IE. Any suggestions on how to clean up the playback?

If you're in chrome. Type "about:" in the address bar (without the quotes) and it will tell you your user agent.

The color you see there is just Aero set to Graphite as the color for the windows. As for spoofing the user agent, right click the shortcut for chrome, go to properties, and add --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1....

I'm with Continental. .. Do tell! I use Chrome a lot. It's faster than the other browsers at the moment, 'cept maybe Safari. I'd love to just use WI on the same browser.
