Hurricane Ike
Life has gotten much better. We got POWER last night, 6 days without makes you really appreciate how comfortable our lives are on a normal basis. No damage to anything, well one casualty was all my perishable food. Being 75 miles NW from Galveston offers a small amount of protection. Granted Ike liked to destroy power I hear Ohio has 1 million without power and Kentucky I think had several hundred thousand doing without.
