There's nothing better than seeing movies in a theater. Each year I try to see as many as possible, but I'd never actually counted them before. In 2008 I saw 23 movies in the theater. Not bad. Averages to roughly two movies a month. I liked most of them too, so that's good. The movies (with a brief opinion) were:

1) 10,000 BC - not awful, not good
2) Bangkok Dangerous - pretty bad
3) Cloverfield - so engaging

1) The Dark Knight
I loved this movie. Saw it twice at the theaters. Haven't seen a movie more than once at the theaters since the Matrix (my favorite of all time). I loved the story, I loved the action, and most of all I loved the characters. Every single one of them was solid and multi-dimensional, and they each added something to the film.
