About Me:
Love the arts. See lots of movies, plays and concerts and read a fair amount of books. I like watching listening and reading things that are contemplative and/or strange. I'm contemplative and strange. I resist going with the crowd and love the things that make us different more than the things that make us the same.

Just FYI: The Netflix search engine has been rigged to bring up "The Water Horse" EVERY time anyone puts the word "the" in the search engine. To thwart this obvious new form of payola, don't use the word "the." You'll get what you're looking for without it.

This has been going on for weeks now, and gawd knows how much unadvertised-as-such advertising this has generated for that film. It might be a good one; I just despise the sneaky stealth promotion and hope to discourage it in the future.

Thanks so much for responding! I'll use your sage advice next time I order. But, I think I did it because I was rushed about moving them to the top. Yeah, you'd think they'd assume you want them in order and correct that mistake. My biggest problems with Netflix are around multiple disks too.

Guess we'll have to watch the other movie we ordered and send it back so I can get Disk 1 and start at the begining...

Hi Sue! I found someone else with the duckie avatar, and they had been here longer, so...I'm glad though, cos I really adore Curious George. He's my hero!

The playlist is really simple (I was glad, hehe). Sign up at playlist.com and create a playlist. When you view the playlist, alongside "share playlist" is an option to generate code. Choose option E and the attributes you want for your player. Then come back to your Ning page and insert the code into...well, I can't remember what it was before I put the playlist in there, but it's above Gadgets and I think it was a slot for photos. Anyway, it was quite simple, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do it!

Hi Sue Blue, I ordered Guns Germs and Steel from a discussion you were in in the Docs. forum. I screwed up and ordered Disk 2 before Disk 1. Should I wait and start with the first disk or will it matter with that series? Thanks!

I like your colors here.

Hi Sue, good to "see" you here as well! I think everybody's been busy on Cinemajig lately, including myself; the posts have dwindled quite a bit, and very few reviews.

I'm new here, only a week old and still wobbly, hehe. Love your page! I'm still trying to learn how to customize mine.

See ya 'round...
