"I was fortunate to have seen it when it first came out in London in 1971. It is a powerful film and for many reasons needs to be restored and released in the original uncut version, in my opinion it was Ken Russell's best masterpiece among his…"

One of our mutual Friends told me about the unpleasent experience you had on the NF site. How unnerving. Had I had the foggiest, I would have refrained from EVER broaching anything the least bit personal. I'm a pretty…"

Forbidden Planet was my 1st real favorite movie, until "2001" was released 12 years later. My screenname is Dr. Morbius id & I majored in Linguistics at San Diego State.
Lived in Colombia, S.A. for 23 years. Now, when I speak Spanish, Hispanics assume I'm
Colombian. For 2 years, I wrote movie reviews in Spanish for "Colombia Positiva", a Central Florida newspaper. Movies have been a passion all my life. There is ONLY one kind of movie I like...GOOD ones! (Irrespective of genre!) For the past 37 years I have directed language institutes.

Cool! I love Cirque du Soleil... they are incredibly talented and I appreciate the fact that they don't use (abuse) animals in their acts.
Muy simpaticos, todos ustedes.
I don't come here often, but I think the site has potential, although it takes work.. One has to take the time that's needed to make connections and don't be disappointed when the discussions fizzle out. If I don't respond quickly, it's not personal. I'm very busy and frankly, if I have 2 hours to spare, I'd rather watch a movie than talk about it (with exceptions). You can get a lot out of this community, if willing to make the investment. There is a bunch of smart people here...
Hi Tony, thanks for inviting me and welcome! I'm the wrong person to ask about customizing you page. I've never done mine. I'm not very active here. Once every few month I try to get interested but nothing much ever seems to happen. I do check my page often to see if anyone has sent me a comment. Let me know if you find anything of interest. Cheers!

"I couldn't get into Mad Men when it was new and all the rage, and haven't tried again. Same goes for the others you mentioned. Dexter, too.. Sitting in front of the TV is the opposite of what all my doctors keep yelling…"
