Forbidden Planet was my 1st real favorite movie, until "2001" was released 12 years later. My screenname is Dr. Morbius id & I majored in Linguistics at San Diego State.
Lived in Colombia, S.A. for 23 years. Now, when I speak Spanish, Hispanics assume I'm
Colombian. For 2 years, I wrote movie reviews in Spanish for "Colombia Positiva", a Central Florida newspaper. Movies have been a passion all my life. There is ONLY one kind of movie I like...GOOD ones! (Irrespective of genre!) For the past 37 years I have directed language institutes.

Cool! I love Cirque du Soleil... they are incredibly talented and I appreciate the fact that they don't use (abuse) animals in their acts.

I don't come here often, but I think the site has potential, although it takes work.. One has to take the time that's needed to make connections and don't be disappointed when the discussions fizzle out. If I don't respond quickly, it's not personal. I'm very busy and frankly, if I have 2 hours to spare, I'd rather watch a movie than talk about it (with exceptions). You can get a lot out of this community, if willing to make the investment. There is a bunch of smart people here...
