I don't watch much that as my wife can't sleep for a week if she so much as hears scary music, but I just watched a series (while she was safely asleep although I still freaked her out when I kept shouting in suprise and laughing like a maniac once I came out of shock) from British Television called "The League of Gentleman". It's available in the watch now section so you wouldn't have to risk a "why'd I order that CD" experience. It's definitely got major gore, thrills and suspense in a funny disturbing monty python meets the twilight zone meets the farmer killers kind of way. I had to force my way past the automatic response to the fact that three guys do all of the major roles including the women. Once I got past the automatic yuck reaction, about episode 3 I really started to get into it. There's a few dialogues in the beginning that seem pointless and drag on, but they're setting up what happens later. Just fair warning, if you do decide to give it a try (it's definitely an acquired taste, love it or hate it type of deal) Series 3 just blew my mind as far as pushing the limits of total gross out funiness.
