Willkommen. Bienvenue. Welcome. C'mon in.

I live in North Beach, San Francisco, California. I work as a deckhand on the San Francisco Bay ferries and I love my job! (and why not, I'm well paid to cruise around the bay all day) I also love movies. I have about 600 in my collection so far (see my blog below).

Some interesting factoids about me... I was born in Spain (Air Force brat). I used to be a bartender in Camden Town, London, England. I have a patent. I was in the Submarine Service in the Navy and I've spent over a year and a half of my life underwater.

Of course, anyone is welcome to be my friend but I'm not above using this page to meet a nice girl, so if you're an attractive, intelligent woman from the Bay Area, let's say, 25-ish to 40-esque and you'd like to get to know me, drop me a line.

Check out my groups; Triple Features and The Best Character Actor Oscar Goes To...

On March 18th, my Triple Features group was made a community featured group. Thank you members and whoever nominated it :^)

Baff replied to brian h. arnett's discussion 'mailing blu ray vs standard'
"Interesting, I've never gotten a dvd when I was expecting a blu-ray.  Maybe better quality control at my local distribution center. In the early blu-ray days I did get several shattered discs arrive (I blame that on the post office rather…"

eviltimes replied to brian h. arnett's discussion 'mailing blu ray vs standard'
"While Knalds and Baff are perfectly correct - NF is far from perfect and things don't always work like they are supposed to.  So don't be surprised when the wrong version arrives in your mailbox. Often, at least in my experience,…"
