i think in general my netflix reviews are probably too long... even so, as i go through them to put them on the site i have been heavy with my editing. Sometimes it's really easy because in many cases i'm looking at stuff i wrote years ago and i was an even bigger moron then. Other times it's harder because i just had a lot i wanted to say... i love talking about movies. Opinionated-Gal said… - Just FYI: The Netflix search engine has been rigged to bring up "The Water Horse" EVERY time anyone puts the word "the" in the search engine. To thwart this obvious new form of payola, don't use the word "the." You'll get what you're looking for without it.
This has been going on for weeks now, and gawd knows how much unadvertised-as-such advertising this has generated for that film. It might be a good one; I just despise the sneaky stealth promotion and hope to discourage it in the future.

If the photo on your Netflix website is yours, not necessarily in physical appearance, but with the lovely, shiny black hair AND tattoo :-), you remind me of our youngest daughter, DaVette (Alias, St. Louis' Arch Rival Roller Girl, Davey Blockit #929. Davey's REAL tattoo is not visible to the public: She wears a fake during bouts [games]. ;-)
Have you attended a roller derby bout, Jaemia? If so, do you like women's flat-track roller derby? ... perhaps, you may be a professional roller girl, too!? (I would forward a photo of Davey, but I don't know how to do that in Netflix...still have A LOT to learn! ;-)

...couldn't help but reply to your "sleep is vastly overrated" comment (to Robowriter, I think).
It would be so very nice if we didn't need adequate sleep, Dear One. but unfortunately, the human body requires 7-8 hours of rest nightly. Did you know that TOXINS are, actually, expelled during our sleep? Toxins retained by the body can cause a HOST of undesirable diseases. :-(
While adequate sleep seems somewhat senseless, it's really a blessing in disguise, Jaemia. It helps healthy bodies to remain healthy.
