I just friggin love movies. Especially those off the beaten path. Which is why I started a blog last month to share that passion with other afficianados. It's set up as a sort of 'film of the month club' (actually two a month, one new post every other Friday). My first was 'Kontroll', the next was 'After the Wedding', and this weekend began 'Feed'. I would love it if some of you great contributors in Netflix Land would come visit me, check out the site, and climb on board. Look forward to meeting you!

Hi! Thanks for the kind words. I haven't actually got to watch too many movies recently and the ones I have seen aren't really something I would recommend. Hope to get back on the "original and good" streak soon. Kudos on your blog! :)
Hi lee, I LOVE your blog!! What a great choice of movies! I'm excited about January's movie, saw it a while ago and found it very memorable - look forward to chipping in my 2 cents worth.
Hi Lee. I love movies too! I had kinda stopped watching because I found most of them so violent. But as I've learned, I had just not been introduced to the wealth of them around, especially foreign film which just fascinates me. I am not so drawn to popular culture US films. I love the selection Netflix offers. And I watch/listen to a lot of music too. Have discovered some great musicians. No. I didn't take this picture. When Netflix was asking us to personalize our pictures, I got a buddy at work to put this one up for me. I went through lots of pictures of purple flowers that he showed me I could use before this one grabbed me. I have to admit I am not really a computer person, so it takes me a while to get the hang of things. I probably could learn if I took more time, but I'm so busy and when I'm not, I mostly prefer watching movie. I feel like I have to catch up! Ha! This is the only site that I visit regularly. Guess I'm hooked now. Ha!
Thanks Staahsha! Your profile page is so cool! Never read a profile with music before. A lot of our favorites match up. No, I haven't seen the film you mentioned but will add it to my list to rent,,,As to your comment, would it be ok if I pasted it onto our conversation? I'm sure our other readers would find it interesting as well....Thanks again for checking it out. Time to go watch another film......lee
Lee, thank you for the invite to discuss Lives of Others on your blog. I visited, it is wonderful there! I recently watched Louis Malle's Lacombe, Lucien. It explores similar themes as in Lives of Others but he doesn't sentimentalize or honey-coat anything. Have you seen it?
