Hi Marcie, First, your birthday was posted on the left side of the screen along with other people, so you must have it set to do so on your Settings page. You can just go there and delete your birthday and it will never happen again. Second, the listings of people who want their posts in Public groups to appear on the right hand side (also a Setting) appears to be undergoing some maintenance from Ning, the company who rents Droid this website space. I've only heard rumors, and we can't seem to pin Ning down on what is going on and when, if ever, that function will return. Anytime Ning changes something though, it's usually for the worse.
Have a better one!
