My Five Star review on NF: I enjoyed this movie enormously. The script, the cast and their performances, the cinematography... all stunning. The care and the delicacy given to the subject matter, neither precious nor crass, was a rare thing. XXY is in a class by itself. Wonderful stuff. No real missteps to report. It's just not often that a movie handles a complicated subject with this much grace and subtlety.
