Big Night. I bought 11 copies, one for myself and ten gifts. And we have a framed poster at home. Joan Tropiano Tucci, Stanley Tucci's mother was the real chef of the movie. Good relationships, good music (and soundtrack), nasty plot.

Tortilla Soup. Maybe just another Eat, Drink, Man, Woman, but the prep by Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger made me hungry.

Babette's Feast. The power of food, and the positive and negative sociological message of fine dining.

Like Water for Chocolate. Extra focus on the ingredients.

Chocolat. Beautiful chocolates.

Dinner Rush. Different preperations for different customers.

I absolutely agree with you on Big Night. The long continuous shot at the end where Tucci cooks eggs for Marc Anthony and Tony Shaloub has always stayed with me.

Not a good movie, but Woman on Top has lots of good looking food, and some good digs at food tv.

Thanks for the suggestion, loved it! I especially dug the scenes with the blown and sculpted sugar. I have a lot of glassblower artist friends and they always ask me about that technique.
