Most Recently Overrated Movies...

I was just thinking the other day that there are a lot of movies lately that have been getting good reviews and lots of hype, but have turned out to be complete crap. I was just curious to see some movies that you would add.

Also remember "Eyes Wide Shut"? I remember the celebs coming out of the premiere raving about it. What they were really saying was "Yes! The emporer DOES indeed have clothes on!" I don't know. Still, it definitely had moments of sheer brilliance and hardly a piece of crud. I hope you didn't fall for the erotic thriller marketing. That was just Kubrick laughing at you (us).; ▶ Reply to This

There are lots of subtle scenes and themes that IMO make this a really smart movie. I was completely perplexed and a bit let down the first watch, but tried it again and really got a more rewarding experience.
