Now I'm watching every Tony Leung (I have never been attracted to any Asian man, however, he's pretty hot) movie made that Netflix is carrying, in chronological order.

AND my most happy news is something I had to share with you fellow anime lovers:
the Korean TV series, Winter Sonata (or Winter Love Song), is going to become an Anime and I couldn't be more excited. I couldn't find the series in its entirety on youtube (some girl claimed her DVR thingy broke) OR yeoh, so I ordered it online for $55! Who knows when I will receive it and be able to finish watching it.

ran into that when I watched the Japanese tv series Remote. man I was sooo fascinated w/Domoto Koichi. spent an entire day sitting through every single ep of the series. seriously embarrassing. LOL the Winter Sonata anime sounds interesting, BTW.; ▶ Reply to This

New Appleseed movies(old 80's version is crap). Great action, different animation style though, some people aren't to crazy about it. Cell shading. I enjoyed though. Plus, Deunan is just SO DAMN AWESOME!

Most stuff by Studio Gainax. Which if I remember correctly, would include Wings of Honneimese(sp?), Gunbuster, FLCL, Otaku No Video(funny and awesome!)

Giant Robo! Great retro look, awesome action and characters. Based on Johnny Socko and His Giant Robot (also very awesome live action series from the 70's, first episode, something like 20 people get shot, and this is a kids show! You can watch it on Watch Now for Netflix)

Akira..............my all time favorite. The new DVD release they redid the voiceovers, which even though the acting was sort of bad in the original version, I'm so used to it, it is kind of weird to watch now. I hear there is an overseas version that has both the English tracks and the Japanese track also. Gotta find it.
