Here is my peeve. I abhor the cliché scene in which an amorous couple burst through the door -- in mid grope! -- after frantically fumbling the keys. Slamming the door behind, each tears clothing from the other. Buttons pop and scatter. Shoes are kicked off. Fingers entwine with hair. Exchange of spittle ensues. Shedding a trail of laundry, the couple then ricochets down the hall, in a tangle of arms and legs, on their way to the bedroom... if they make it that far. Steve Irwin says: "Crikey! They only met five minutes ago."

Then we cut to the "oh no, what have I done" shot. Supine between sheets, one character stares at the ceiling, plotting escape, while the other character slumbers blissfully, confident of true love. Of course, all ends well but this impetuous "had me at hello" consummation is played for laughs far to often, in my opinion.

Well, that's my peeve. What are yours?

The Horror movie cat - that jumps out from behind a door and shrieks loudly. Cats very rarely ever do that unless hurt in some way. Always used as a jump tactic and usually ruins it for me.

Stupid people in horror movies that want to investigate instead of getting the f*ck out of there...

Didn't you mean fu*k? hehehehe

Actually, that sounds kind of hot! Perhaps it's presented so often on the screen because it doesn't happen in real life and we wish it were?
