Dr. Richard Kimble had been accused, tried, convicted,
and sentenced to die for a crime he did not commit, the
murder of his wife. Kimble was being taken by Lt.
Gerard to prison to be executed when the train in which
they were riding was derailed and Kimble escaped. For
the next four highly successful seasons, while Gerard
searched for Kimble, Kimble searched for the one-armed
man he had seen actually murder his wife. Back and forth
across the country, taking odd jobs and new identities,
and constantly on the verge of being caught by the
