What Is The Most Ridiculous Five Star Rating You've Given?

What's the most absurd movie that you've gone out on a limb and given five stars?

My film: Billy Madison.

I don't care what anyone says that penguin is hilarious.

Of course, the same critics panned Darko on its release, and also killed the theatrical run of Southland Tales. Anyway, Chumscrubber made it to only 7 theatrical screens before it was pulled from distribution -- unusual for a film with such a well-known cast (Jamie Bell, Glenn Close, Rita Wilson, Carrie-Anne Moss, William Fichtner, Ralph Fiennes, John Heard, Lauren Holly)

I'm not alone -- there's lotsa 4 and 5-star member reviews (1 and 2-star as well); seems to be a "love it or hate it" proposition. It's a shame it didn't find a theatrical audience.

I would say people would think that my 5 star rating for the following movies are WAY absurd, but I don't care. They were seriously entertaining!:

Mine would have to be Stir Crazy. I know it's cheesy, but I LOVED it since I was a teen. I finally got around to buying it and I wanted to share it with my son (who I truly thought would hate it). He said it's not the best film he's ever seen, but he admitted that he did like it.; ▶ Reply to This
