Someone once commented on my movie blog Moviette "You sure watch a lot of movies." The real question is, Is that statement one of approval or disapproval? Is the anonymous kibbitzer being envious or critical? Is s/he saying "I wish I could watch that many movies" or "You are watching too many movies"? And if the latter, what gives that person the right to judge (much less assume when in my lifetime I have watched a movie vs. when in my lifetime I have reviewed it)? In the end I just responded "I sleep less than most people."

List Save Update

The maximum limit for movies in a list that I have successfully saved (without the save error that for several weeks now no longer appears after an unsuccessful save) is now 423.

Movie Correction

For the 2003 version of Death Train (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Death_Train/70058074), you are using an image also used on the 2001 version of a movie by this name which you now list as Unavailable (convicts escape prison and jump a Mexican train).

List Save Update

The maximum limit for movies in a list that I have successfully saved (without the save error that for several weeks now no longer appears after an unsuccessful save) is now 400. (It took 3 screen refreshes to confirm but did not fail as list saves in the 600s still do.) I'll keep testing the upper bound of the safe-save limit -- using live lists, of course -- as I have occasion.

No kidding..I miss it there...I went to Lamar University...and I met people out there that told me that one of the dallas/addison/plano based Studio Movie Grills opened up out there...you should try it if you haven't...Plus, thought about attending Rice for grad school but had to move away from the heat, and my friends...
